Realme 5 series is set to launch in India on August 20

Realme is going to launch its new smartphone in India with a Quad rear camera setup. Realme is going to launch its smartphone on August 20 through Flipkart. The new phone debut as a new Realme 5-series which includes Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro models with an ultra-wide-angle lens. The new 5-series is likely to replace the existing Realme 3 and Realme 3 Pro. The development of the new Realme phone comes after the Chinese company revealed its first 64-megapixel camera phone which will sport a Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 image sensor. The Realme 64-megapixel a camera phone will arrive before October 27.

Flipkart revealed that the Realme 5-series will be launched in India on August 20 and the launch will take place formally at 12.30 pm. Both the phones will have a slimmer U shaped notch above the screen. The Realme 5-series phone will come with a primary sensor with large pixel size and a large aperture lens. The phone will also have a secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle which carries a 119-degree field-of-view, a tertiary sensor with a super macro lens sporting a microscopic focal length of 4 cm, and a fourth sensor that has a portrait lens that is specialized to capture photos with sharpness and clarity. According to other sources, the Realme 5 will have a 16MP primary camera which is in the rear, while the Realme 5 Pro will have a 48MP primary camera in the rear. Both the handsets will feature a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The price of both the smartphones is expected to be between INR 10000 to 15000.

Flipkart released a teaser video that shows the back of the upcoming Realme phone mostly the Quad rear camera setup alongside an LED flash module. In the last week, Realme has shown its 64-megapixel camera phone which is to debut in India. The company has announced that it will use a Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 image sensor. This is the same sensors were Samsung and Xiaomi is set to apply on their 64-megapixel camera phone, the Realme phone with the new sensor will arrive as Realme X Pro, which is an upgrade version of Realme X.
While telling about its 64-megapixel camera phone in New Delhi last week, Realme is planning to unveil two additional Quad camera smartphones.
